How does speed dating work?

Upon check-in, the gentlemen receive a table number and find their seats. These become their "home base" for the evening. They get settled while the ladies gather nearby. A server makes the rounds to take drink and food orders so everyone's comfortable before things kick off. Once the gentlemen are seated, the host guides each lady to a table to start the first round. The host keeps track of time and lets the ladies know when it's time to rotate to the next gentleman. You'll have 3–5 minute one-on-one conversations with several singles throughout the evening. Before the event wraps up, you'll receive an email with a link to your digital scorecard to submit your preferences.

Do these events really work?

These events have sparked friendships, small groups, business partnerships, dating relationships, engagements, marriages, and even babies (after marriage, of course!). But they're about so much more than just finding a date. They're about restoring hope and reminding Christian singles that they're not alone in their desire for marriage. Many arrive feeling like everyone else is moving forward while they're still waiting, or like they're the only single person left in their friend group. These gatherings offer a fresh sense of encouragement and belonging, where everyone is in the same season and shares the same heart for godly connection. Do you vet attendees?

From our experience of running dozens of events, the majority of attendees at our events are sincere Christians who are looking for partners who share their faith. We understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of our gatherings, and we have implemented several vetting methods to ensure that. One way we do this is by openly communicating our Biblical values in our marketing efforts. By being transparent about our beliefs and expectations, we attract individuals who are genuinely interested in pursuing meaningful relationships based on those values. Additionally, we have a ticket price structure in place that acts as a deterrent to those who are seeking casual encounters. This helps create an environment where participants are more likely to be genuinely committed to the pursuit of long-term, faith-based relationships.​ It's important to acknowledge that thoroughly vetting every individual who attends our events is not practical. Instead, we believe in empowering adult men and women to exercise their own discernment. The Bible itself emphasizes the importance of personal discernment in navigating relationships and warns against false prophets and deceitful individuals.

Do participants need to bring anything?

Bring a valid ID for identity and age verification at check-in. Some participants also find it helpful to bring a small notepad to jot down quick impressions during the evening. Match selections are submitted digitally via a scorecard on your phone, which includes each attendee's name, age, photo, and short bio. Most importantly, come with a positive attitude and an open mind. Many participants attend multiple events before finding a spark making each gathering its own opportunity.

Will there be food or drinks?

A minimum purchase of one drink or food item is highly encouraged. Non-alcoholic options are always available.

Is there a dress code?

Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and confident. Some events take place both indoors and outdoors, so dress for the weather. Since women will be moving between tables, comfortable shoes are a good call. Keep personal items light to help rotations run smoothly.

When should participants arrive?

Check-in opens 15 minutes before the event start time. Arriving early gives you time to account for parking. Some venues have limited spots.

What happens if a participant is late?

Arrive at least 15 minutes early if you can. This gives you time to grab a drink, get settled, and lets our host finalize pairings before the first round begins. Arriving late can affect other participants, as someone may be left without a date during the first round. Guests arriving more than 20 minutes after the event officially begins will not be able to participate, and no refund or credit can be issued.

How is the men:women ratio?

Most of the time, yes. We control how many tickets we sell, but we can’t always control who actually shows up. If, for example, 10 women and 11 men attend, each man will still rotate through and meet all 10 women. Everyone still gets the full experience. When the ratio isn't perfectly even, you'll have short breaks between some rounds to gather your thoughts - which, trust us, ends up being a big advantage.

How many people will I talk to?

We require at least 7 confirmed ticket sales per gender to run the event (with a maximum of 15 per gender). If we don't hit the minimum, the event is cancelled and you'll receive either a credit or a full refund. The exact number of conversations you'll have depends on who actually shows up. We can't control last-minute no-shows, but we do everything we can to keep the room full.

How does the digital scorecard work?

Before the event ends, you'll receive an email with the link to your scorecard, which includes names, ages, photos, and short bios of the opposite gender attendees. Submit your preferences by 11:30 PM the same night. Missing the deadline means you won't receive matches.

How are matches decided?

Before the event, you'll create a quick profile with a few photos and a short bio. At the end of the night, you'll digitally select who you'd like to see again, who you'd like to be friends with, and who you'd rather not match with. If you and someone else both said YES to each other, it's a match and you'll both get an email notification. We'll also let you know if there are no matches, so you're never left wondering.

When will matches be revealed?

Matches are posted on our secure matching platform by midnight after the event. You'll receive an email notification when matches are finalized.

How do matches contact each other?

Participants can message mutual matches through our secure matching platform.

Are matches guaranteed?

While we strive to create a fun and meaningful experience for everyone, matches are not guaranteed. Connections are based on mutual interest, and as such, not grounds for a refund. We encourage participants to come with an open mind and great energy!

Why is there an age range?

Age ranges help create a more intentional, comfortable, and compatible dating experience. Keeping participants within a similar life stage increases the likelihood of meaningful matches.

Why is there a different age range for men and women at 20s-30s events?

It came down to patterns we kept seeing. When we ran events with one broad age range (say, 25–39 for everyone) sign-ups would quietly split in opposite directions. Most men who registered were on the younger end. Most women were on the older end. On paper, the range overlapped. In practice, the preferences didn't. Women typically want someone around their age or slightly older. Men typically want someone around their age or slightly younger. So we'd end up with a room full of people who technically qualified but weren't actually what each other was looking for. That's not a great night for anyone. So we adjusted. Women's ranges skew slightly younger. Men's ranges skew slightly older. That single change made events noticeably more balanced and the outcomes for attendees improved significantly. This has nothing to do with older women being less desirable or less welcome. It's purely about matching people to rooms where the age overlap actually works in their favor. We want everyone who shows up to have a real shot and that's what this structure makes possible.

Can participants still register if they're outside the age range?

We ask that all guests honor the age range listed for each event, as these are designed to foster meaningful connections among individuals in similar life stages. At check-in, we may ask for a valid ID to verify age. If a guest is found to be outside the specified range, they may be turned away without a refund. We share this with both grace and clarity. Our goal is to create a well-aligned and intentional experience for everyone attending. Thank you for understanding.

Is it possible for the event to be cancelled?

Yes, but it rarely happens. If we don't reach the minimum attendance requirement, the event may be cancelled. Participants will be notified at least 24 hours in advance and a full refund or a credit will be issued.

Do you offer refunds?

All sales are final. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

What is the Booking Flexibility add-on?

Life can throw curveballs, so we created the Booking Flexibility add-on to give you peace of mind. Add it to your ticket at checkout for $6.99. If something comes up, you can move your booking to another available event of the same ticket type and gender (one time only). Just let us know at least 48 hours before the event and we'll get you rescheduled. Please note: even with Booking Flexibility, tickets remain non-refundable and non-transferable. This add-on simply allows you to reschedule once. Without it, missed events cannot be credited or moved.
